Dance Forum

What began as an opportunity for local students to showcase their talent has grown by leaps and bounds. More than two decades later, the Dance Forum has evolved into a popular annual concert series highlighting professional modern dance from around the region.

Dance Forum is a unique opportunity for emerging and established artists to present their work in the beautiful, state-of-the-art Wellspring Theater. The juried event is coordinated by Wellspring Artistic Associate Michael Miller and features original and experimental choreography by guest artists, including college/university dance students, faculty and highly acclaimed dancers from the regional community. Past Dance Forums have featured special guests artists Christopher Williams from New York, Joseph Mills from Chicago, Rebecca Lazier from Brooklyn, and Pamela McNeil from Chicago, among others.
